This is the story of the Nickel Mines massacre. On October 2, 2006, a gunman entered a one room schoolhouse and shot 10 schoolgirls. This is an insider's look into the events —told by the counselor who was called upon to come to the farmhouse where the families met on that fateful day.

Written by Jonas Beiler. Born and raised Amish, he is the real life husband of Anne Beiler, the founder of Auntie Anne's Pretzels.

Charles Roberts, the Nickel Mines shooter, killed 5 in addition to himself and wounded 5 others. There's no doubt, it is an extremely compelling story, and it's well written. The story of forgiveness shines through the tragedy.

Definitely for true crime fans. The outpouring of love, charity, and affection for the Amish during that trying time will always be remembered.

13 pages. Hardback. 9 1/4" x 6".
