Freiman Stoltzfus Amish Nativity Print

This renowned artist was raised Amish-Mennonite. This exquisite and moving print needs no explanation. Here the nativity scene takes on an Amish theme. All personnages wear Amish garb and the Babe is covered with an Ohio Star Amish quilt. The scene is in a barn instead of a manger, the soft glow by lanterns instead of oil lamps. Most Amish folks would be humbled by this and claim that they are not worthy of such a depiction. But we love it, just as Mr. Stoltzfus painted it.  Be sure to check out the companion book!
