While we are not Amish, our ties to the Old Order Amish Community of Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, are extensive. As a matter of fact, unlike some other websites that sell Amish-made merchandise, we live right in the heart of the Lancaster Amish settlement. We work and play side by side with our Amish neighbors, employees, friends, and surrogate children and grandchildren, right in the very heart of Lancaster County. We recognize the incredible work ethic and painstaking attention to detail that ensures quality, and we know what is Amish and what isn't.

We feel so strongly about offering you genuinely Amish-made merchandise, we do the following things to ensure your experience is authentic:

On each product listing, we place the first name of the craftsman- or woman- right at the top.
We offer a few items that are not Amish made. If the item is made by Mennonites or by "English" manufacturers, we mark that very clearly, also at the top of the listing.
We will gladly supply a Certificate of Authenticity upon request for each item you buy that is Amish-made, at least $5.00 in value and a durable good-- such as furniture, wagons, quilts, and toys.
