THINGS YOU SHOULD KNOW ABOUT OUR FURNITURE

Our furniture line is made by a family of Old Order Amish craftsman right here in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania.
MOST ITEMS, BECAUSE THEY ARE MADE TO ORDER, WILL TAKE BETWEEN 6-7 WEEKS BEFORE SHIPPING.
All pieces are solid natural wood and never contain any particleboard.
While some drawer bottoms and panel mounting backs are made of luan, a pressed wood product that lends strength, the main line of furniture pieces themselves are fashioned from kiln-dried Northern White Pine. Dining room tables and chairs are customarily are contructed in Wormy Maple wood but may also be ordered in other woods.
Furniture may also be custom ordered in Cherry, Maple, and Oak woods. The same piece quoted on our website for pine may cost approximately 40% more for Maple and Oak, and approximately 75% more for Cherry wood.
While we do not have a physical store ourselves, we frequently make appointments to take customers to our furniture craftsman's workshop.
Appointments should be made at least a week in advance and are normally available between Monday- Friday, from 8 AM - 4 PM Eastern Time. Saturday appointments need a longer lead time. Sunday appointments are not available because the Amish do not work on Sundays. Please phone us at 1.866.471.4614 toll-free, or at 717.983.0145 if you are local.

One last thought: if you are considering purchasing multiple pieces of furniture, with at least one item that needs to be shipped via freight, you can realize the greatest savings if you purchase those items at the same time. If multiple furniture items can ship on the same pallet, you only incur one pallet charge instead of multiple pallet charges. Please telephone us to arrange for combined shipping.
