Important Information about Freight Shipping

  1. Freight shipping is based on weight. You may be able to add additional furniture for no extra or not much incremental additional shipping cost. Please check with us first! For instance, if you add up to another 100 pounds of furniture (assuming we can fit it all on the same pallet) the upcharge will only range from $10 - $40, depending on where you live in the U.S. If it's only up to 50 pounds, the extra shipping is free.

  2. If you wish to combine shipping costs, please do not order online but phone or e-mail us first. Our system is good, but it's not that smart!

  3. This quote is for residential curb-side service. If you have access to a business with a shipping dock, contact us before buying and we'll deduct $25.00 manually.

  4. Residential curb-side service is a bit misleading. This means the driver will pull up to your curb and may even need assistance getting your merchandise off the truck. You will be responsible for getting it into your home. If you will need lift-gate service at an additional cost of $56.50 (that's the little elevator on the back of the truck), please type the word "Lift" in the box marked "Lift-gate Service $56.50" right above the "Add to Shopping Cart" Button on the next page after selecting your state below. PLEASE NOTE: IF YOU DO NOT WANT THE LIFT-GATE SERVICE, PLEASE LEAVE THE BOX BLANK.

  5. Finally, we will send you an e-mail with a tracking number notifying you when your furniture ships. The freight company, usually UPS, will be instructed to telephone you to schedule a delivery time. This will be during the business day. Please contact us to arrange for weekend and evening delivery or inside delivery, which obviously costs more.
